| Bio | People who have rose from the ashes of adversity and conformity; people with experience, opinion and the ability to communicate the two without violence but with conviction, impress and interest me. I love to read and write although I don’t do either very well, in the end it serves as an outlet for some of the mind-set I may want to share, while the rest is kept personal. Music and art are my first loves and while I lack education in both; I strive to better myself. Most my time is spent alone trying to get some time to think and gather my own thoughts, which I tend to be shy about expressing most times. I’m not looking for friends, but more to broaden my mind and grow as a human being.
I play, drums, zills, piano, and listen to all types of music because I feel every genre is compelling. My ‘art’ poison is pinup and something I enjoy doing. Recently I photograph just about everything. If I’m on a new trip and something catches my eye, or if I meet someone new or interesting, I take a picture. And even more recent (though not as often or as well) is the cross over into digital art, which is fun to explore and try. I love horror novels, classical literature and poetry, but I don’t discriminate and tend to read just about anything that catches my interest, be it modern or classic. Science fiction, and the sciences (bioethics, space exploration, genetics, surgical breakthroughs, forensics) are other areas of interest for reading and watching material but I’m not an expert or too hip regarding what’s popular. I love Politics and Religion but find that discussing them is sometimes tense or boring since people seem to cover the same ground habitually without poise. Films are my weakness, as I’ve been known to watch as many as 3 in one night. I watch all types of movies but usually find the dramas (not chick flicks), which have deeper meaning more appealing.
My weaknesses are, being too gullible, negativity, depression, martyrdom, defensiveness, earth mothering, suicidal thoughts, vanity, dramatic shows of self pity and heartache, moodiness, pot, kissing, pushing people away, fear, hating society, fighting rules and other peoples ideas, being too sensitive, abrasiveness, being abrupt.
Strong points are, creativity, ear for music and sound, memory for events that happen especially when connected to people, the sometimes generous nature for people I love deeply or have a deep caring for, love of animals, ecology, open to experiment, curious nature and a willingness for change.
My hope is and has been since I was a kid, to someday make enough money to donate to charities that help children who come from bad homes, foster homes, poor countries, suffer from abuse and to help Aids victims. To leave something of myself behind that shows I existed and contributed to this world, and that may contribute to someone else making a change in it for the better. I have hope that humanity will someday be on the same page for the better and that artist will be respected and that all branches of the arts will be an important part of school curriculums.
